Born in early 1951.

The cook, housekeeper and all-around mother whose family has been working for the Fitzwilliams for generations. She was the governess of Claire, Louise, Eleanor and Patrick Fitzwilliam, and remains at the house whenever they are gone.

She lives elsewhere and has raised a handful of children of her own.
